Norman Wong

Taking Portraits for Drake and Aziz Ansari.

What started out as a passion for film making for Norman Wong, turned into a rollercoaster career as Toronto's hottest portrait photographer. From Drake's Scorpion cover to intimate portraits of his college friend, Kevin Drew of Broken Social Scene. Norman's always been driven by people, hence his love for portraits and capturing pictures of either his closest friends or people he admires.

Before Norman had the Drake cover under his belt, he shot some of Toronto's hottest up and coming artists and cultural pioneers. Whether it was Pressa and CMDWN for Noisey Canada, or Majid Jordan's cover art, you could count on Norman to capture an honest portrait of these prolific acts. Recently, Norman shot a crazy editorial for AdWeek featuring The Weeknd's creative director Lamar Taylor on the streets of Toronto.
