Starting as a professional painter for Goyard, Shaun Crawford is involved in anything from illustrating on tote bags to designing custom carpets. The artist from NYC has been drawing as long as he can remember, quickly becoming obsessed with writing on any and everything. Shaun’s worked on collaborations with brands like Carhartt WIP, Converse, Better Gift Shop and Nike. On top of that, Shaun periodically drops his own clothing collections (Crawford Sourcing) through Dover Street Market, but they'll cost you a pretty penny.

Aside from the big-name projects, some of Shaun's most interesting work is his solo exhibitions. Idle Hands features hand-made home goods including oversized throw pillows, soft sculptures and hand-knotted Tibetan rugs, hand-dyed using a special technique developed by Shaun.
Always involved in the graffiti scene, Shaun isn’t afraid to get his hands dirty and throw up a tag once in a while (even on NYPD trucks). Most of the characters Shaun illustrates can be attributed to his graf where cartoon-styled animals are all the rage. Shaun created similar characters with AirMax-inspired graphics on a selection of tote bags and tee shirts for Nike’s “Artists on Air”.
